Welcome. As a counsellor who has also been through therapy, I can firsthand recognise how difficult it can be to make the decision to talk to a counsellor. But at times, we all experience an overwhelming sensation in our hectic daily lives. During these times, there can be a sense that others around us cannot understand these feelings, and we can feel alone.

As an Integrative Counsellor, I offer warmth and empathy, giving you the time and space to talk about how you are feeling without judgment. Therapy allows you to focus on your relationship with yourself. Embracing self-development can lead to positive changes in other relationships in your life.

I have spent many years working in a high pressured business environment and am aware of how demanding this can be with balancing family life and a career. Ultimately, this can impact dedicating time to focus on who you are or would like to be.

My Practice and the Way I Work.

The therapeutic relationship between the client and the counsellor is an essential part of the therapy. As a client, you need to have trust in your counsellor. My role is to listen without judgement, to bring empathy and compassion, and to allow you to be you. I understand that everyone has unique experiences and journeys to bring about a positive change in their life or better understand themselves or their relationships with others.

Availability

I offer traditional Face to Face therapy at my home as well as online or telephone counselling.

Alongside traditional face-to-face therapy I also offer Walk-and-Talk Therapy * which enables us to take traditional counselling outside where we can explore the benefits of nature whilst engaging in a therapeutic conversation.

I work with Adults, Couples and Organisations.

Flexible Hours;

Monday, Wednesday and Saturday

* Walk-and-Talk therapy is available on Saturdays.

Location

I practice from a dedicated therapy space in my home, located centrally in Manningtree near the high street. It is an accessible ground-level space (a single step over the threshold) with toilet facilities. There is free roadside parking and a small public car park in Manningtree, less than a five-minute walk away.

My practice is equal distance between Mistley and Manningtree train stations.

Manningtree is also easily accessible from Ipswich, Colchester, and Harwich on public transport via train and bus. The train station is a 10-15 minute walk.

Walk and Talk therapy also takes place in and around Manningtree with the route tailored to meet your needs.
